Main Christmas markets in Prague will be held in Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square in the heart of the city and will be open daily from 30 November 2024 to 6 January 2025, including Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.

Smaller Christmas markets will be held:
Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky) in front of the Palladium shopping centre. Open daily from 25 November to 30 December 2024. Opening hours 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
On Kampa Square by the Charles Bridge in the Lesser Town. Open daily from 3 December 2024 to 1 January 2025. Opening hours 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Havel Market in the Old Town - the main permanent market in the city centre creates a festive atmosphere with Christmas stalls and a large Christmas tree. Opening hours 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
In addition, Prague Castle hosts a large Christmas market on the square in front of St. George's Basilica. The market is open daily from December 2, 2024 to January 6, 2025. Opening hours 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
For a local Christmas market, head to Peace Square (Náměstí Míru), which is 15 minutes from Wenceslas Square. The market, which attracts mostly Czechs, runs from November 20 to December 24, 2024. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free.
